Banana Ghosts are the perfect snack before heading out!

We’ve talked about how to help your kids moderate their sugar-intake on Halloween night and one of those tips was a snack before heading out. Not only will this give your little ones the energy to walk to all those houses in the neighborhood, it also leaves less room for candy.

These banana ghosts are just the ticket. Easy to make with a fun Halloween impact, you can’t go wrong heading out the door with these in your belly.

Ingredients
  1. Bananas, peeled and cut in half.
  2. Milk chocolate chips, melted
  3. Sandwich bag
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut your bananas in half.
  2. In a microwave, melt a small amount of milk chocolate chips. Do this in 10 second intervals, stiring in between each, so as to avoid scorching the chocolate.
  3. Once chocolate is melted, pour into a sandwich bag, squeezing it all into one corner.
  4. Snip the corner to make an opening and use this to pipe fun ghostly faces onto the bananas.
  5. Let chocolate harden (you can pop them in the fridge for a few moments) and then serve.
